Youth empowerment through Civic leadership in the community, Academic responsibility, and Personal accountability – CAPs
Our mission is to improve civic, academic, and personal performance and graduation rates, and community responsibilities among students most at risk while empowering them to reach their maximum potential. With the aid of staff, community, and volunteers, students will be better prepared to excel in high school and post high school while learning to overcome societal stereotypes, limitations, possible parental absences, lowered expectations, or challenges in education while growing and demonstrating their leadership skills. This will be achieved by fostering partnerships with existing schools, community leaders, businesses, and by creating new evidence-based programs to develop a comprehensive, community-based network of services and stakeholders among Village supporters.
